Departing from Sapporo Station! This is a day-hiking tour on Date Monbetsudake, located to the east of Date City.
After meandering through gentle wooded areas and emerging onto the ridge, the panorama unfolds. From there, enjoy a scenic ridge walk!
From the summit, if the visibility is clear, you can behold Funka Bay below along with views of Mt. Usu, Mt. Yotei, and Mt. Komagatake.
After descending, enjoy some time at a nearby hot spring.
A professional guide will explain key points of mountain hiking throughout the trek.
Approximately 2.5 hours for the ascent and 2 hours for the descent.
This tour is recommended for those who want to try or experience hiking as the weather warms up.

If you’re concerned about your footing, trekking poles are available for free rental.
Please let us know at the time of application if you wish.

《Meeting place accessible by public transportation! Free shuttle available》
Free shuttle service from Sapporo Station. Participation is possible via public transportation.
Transfers can also be arranged from accommodations within a 1km radius of the station.

《Full support with small group tours》
The tour is conducted in small groups to ensure attentive support.
The tour is conducted with up to 2 groups and a maximum of 5 people.
As a measure against the coronavirus, we have installed alcohol disinfectant and disposable masks in the transport vehicle.

• Arrival at the trailhead. Pre-hike warm-up exercises (10 minutes).

• Hike begins at the trailhead with intermittent rest breaks and briefings (270 minutes).
　　　↓
• Arrive at the trail's end.
After a relaxing soak in a nearby hot spring, you'll be transferred back to Sapporo Station.

[Important notes for course participation]
During the mountain trip, the guide will do their utmost to ensure safety, but various dangers such as falls, falling rocks, snow, and branches exist in outdoor activities.
We ask that customers fully recognize the risks associated with mountain activities before participating.
The guide may not be held responsible for accidents during the climb.

Please note that the following cancellation fees will apply if you cancel for personal reasons.
13 to 8 days before: 30% of the participation fee
7 to 2 days before: 50% of the participation fee
The day before: 80% of the participation fee
On the day: 100% of the participation fee
